We are Schub.
Our name 'Schub' translates to 'Booster' in German, reflecting our mission: to help companies get off the ground and accelerate.
We love sharing our insights and believe in a very strong European innovator ecosystem that we want to foster with every action we take.
How do we do this? Through Space, Labs, Transform and Seed - the 4 units that make up our internal Schub ecosystem.
Schub is led by Sebastian “Basti” Schuon. He has co-founded two startups (Alasco - raised 40m+, Stylight - exited for 80m) and has strong ties to the CDTM (he currently serves as the Managing Director and is an alum of Class 2008ST). He holds a Master’s degree in CS from Stanford and Diploma from TU Munich in EE. He’s a both a Fulbright and Studienstiftung scholar. He’s also a Dad of two girls and fancies aircrafts.
