The Schubkarre

Schub means thrust. A Schubkarre is a wheelbarrow. When a team has reached its goals and moves out of Leopoldstraße 20, the batch lines up and wheels the founders out of the door. That is how you graduate from Schub.

The Schubkarre is our graduation tradition. Here are some of the rides, and what the founders say about how Schub supported them.

Automates control cabinet production, the part every mega trend from AI to EVs runs on.

“I had a blast at Schub! Thank you so much for all the support, Sebastian Schuon. I wholeheartedly recommend applying to anyone launching a business in Munich.”

Franz Zünkler, Angelo Canzaniello

Nine months after Schub: €2.3M raised, three founding engineers hired, listed as one of Europe's top 17 energy startups.

“Schubies have high motivation and dedication. This drive can be contagious in a positive sense. The coaching really helped us focus on what's really important in the beginning.”

Vincent Jeltsch, Jochen Madler

Joined Y Combinator's W26 batch after Schub, then came back to focus fully on Germany.

“Schub has the highest calibre of people in Munich. The coaching assists teams to focus on the right issues while providing appropriate challenges to push them harder when necessary. If you want to accelerate your journey and increase your odds of success, join Schub.”

Jochen Madler, Sitefire

Delta Charge

Johannes Kirnberger, Filip Hes, Connor Hanafee

Graduated after an oversubscribed round: $4.3M in equity to electrify heavy-duty transport.

“The coaching helped us enormously on a weekly basis, guiding us in the right direction through a bunch of tough decisions at critical stages. There really is nothing to lose being part of Schub. You can grow from an idea to a real business, with the added bonus of getting access to angel investors too.”

Oliver Niesel

Left with a stable, repeatable business and moved into their own office to grow the team.

“Community, accountability and mentorship are three words I would use to describe Schub Space. The mentorship pushed me into the uncomfortable space and asked the uncomfortable questions to project me and the business forward.”

Oliver Niesel, medeKI
